Dirt Devil is a known brand name in floor cleaning products. Since buying a Dirt Devil product at any rate relieves any quality control concerns that consumers normally experience about vacuum products in general, this unit is a safe bet right out of the gate.I incidentally do have 2 cats, two shelter dogs and a budgie having written correspondence for our Town Animal Shelter for many years in my civil service position prior to my retirement and being a saver of animals along with my family so there is plenty of pet hair to pick up at my house. This Royal hand held, I want you to know is a terrific machine and perfect for anyone whether you have pets or not. It is extremely powerful, easy to maintain and handy for times when you do not want to drag out the big one.
