Oh I miss the European vacuum cleaners. You can actually get someting decent for under $80 there. This one is *relatively* inexpensive but feels really cheap. I bet it won't last long. Suction power is way way way below the average too. Picks up dust quite well but bigger junk doesn't go through.Customer Review: Dirt Devil Breeze

This is the second Breeze that I have owned and I really like this vacuum. I only use it on hardwood floors though and I doubt it would be suitable for carpets since it is a canister. I like that the attachments are within easy reach as well.Customer Review: Best little vacuum!

This is the best little vacuum I ever used I have 12 cats and 5 dogs and you talk about hair! Well the Breeze sucks it all up great in corners where hairs tend to linger. I was tired of lugging a heavy Hoover canister around and spending money on bags. I love this vacuum couldn't be happier.Customer Review: I LOVE this cannister vacuum cleaner!!

I recently purchased a Dirt Devil 082500 Breeze Bagless Canister Vacuum from Amazon!
I HAVE an upright cleaner, but it is very limited to the tasks of cleaning floors and carpets.
With my NEW vacuum, I just simply strap it across my shoulder and carry it with me as I clean walls, curtains, ceilings, inside all of my heat ducts, etc., etc...
My entire house feels really clean now!
I SHOULD have purchased one of these many years ago (as the dirt inside of the filter shows)!
I am extremely pleased with this product!!

As a regular amazon customer I am always reading reviews and basing purchases on what the "real world" says most often than what the product description says. I bought my little dirt devil b/c my bigger dirt devil (jaguar I think- regular vac) was getting old and wouldnt stand upright on its own anymore. I use my vacs mainly and only for vaccuuming up dog hair throughout my small condo (wood floors). This little vac is so light and easy to maneuver and great for getting all the "tumbleweeds" of dog hair in my home. I have 2 german shepherds & 1 miniature australian shepherd. That equals a lot of hair! And I use my vac frequently. So far so good, no complaints. Easy to maneuver, easy to empty/clean. Takes up minimal space which is extremely important. Since my apt is mainly wood floors, with just one large area rug, this vac does the job just fine. When I move into a home with more carpet, I will plan to buy a bigger/regular vac for that. But for now this is just great! Great buy for the price!
