The bottom line is the Dirt Devil 0105 works. It picks up pet hair well and is very handy for spot vacuuming. It is a bit on the loud side, but it is not intended to vacuum an entire home so the noise is not a deal breaker. The clear dirt canister makes it easy to see when it is time to empty and the long cord helps reach a large area with ease. I read reviews and ordered this - WOW - I vacuumed my steps (I have a dog and cat!) - I didn't need to unplug because the cord length is 20' and it worked unbelievably great. They looked like they were "fluffed" and you can see the dirt getting suctioned into the canister. It worked great on the pet hair - I loved it; and I am glad you have these reviews - that's exactly what we need to see. Thanks for the quick shipping - ordered it at lunch on Tuesday - got home from work on Wednesday and it was here.

I have 2 large newfies, and that equals a lot of hair. This vac is up to the job, the only thing is I wish the collection chamber were a bit bigger. It fills pretty rapidly.
